Role overview

Develop secure, customer-focused software with simplification and user experience at the core.

Partner with design, product management, and other teams to create effective solutions.

Contribute new ideas for product innovation and improve software development processes.

What you’ll do

- Write clean code and unit tests with minimal guidance, supporting scale, reliability, and release velocity.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and code reviews throughout development.
- Create technical design documentation and contribute to documentation for end users.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and support customers through on-call rotations when needed.
- Lead small-to-medium features and projects from technical design through completion.
- Track product adoption and success metrics and advocate for features addressing customer needs.
- Coordinate project timelines and specifications with stakeholders and develop remediation alternatives.
- Share knowledge across teams and mentor peers or engineering interns.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, master’s degree with 3 years,



or PhD with 0 years.
- Working and expanded conceptual knowledge in the primary technical job family.
- Proficiency with current technologies and broadening capabilities in software engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

- 5 or more years of software development experience focused on data engineering, system integration, and backend applications.
- Experience with Python, MuleSoft, AI or machine learning integrations, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kafka, Airflow, GraphQL, Heroku, CI/CD, cloud platforms, or Salesforce integrations.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile development.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
