About the Role
Divinelane is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Grader to handle diamond grading, quality assessment, certification verification, and inventory quality control.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat, with hands-on experience in diamond grading.
Key Responsibilities
Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs and established quality parameters.
Assess clarity, inclusions, fluorescence, cut, polish, symmetry, and proportions.
Use gemmological instruments and diamond grading equipment for evaluation.
Verify diamond certificates and maintain accurate grading records.
Inspect incoming diamond inventory and support physical stock verification.
Identify natural, treated, and lab-grown diamonds where applicable.
Maintain accuracy, consistency,



and quality standards in diamond evaluation.
Provide technical support to sales and customer support teams when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of hands-on experience in diamond grading or quality assessment.
Strong understanding of the 4Cs of diamonds.
Knowledge of diamond characteristics, inclusions, treatments, fluorescence, cut, polish, and symmetry.
Hands-on experience with diamond grading and gemmological equipment.
Solid attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good documentation and inventory management skills.

Preferred
Diploma / Certification in Gemmology or Diamond Grading.
GIA, IGI, GII, HRD, or equivalent certification.
Experience in a diamond showroom, jewellery store, diamond trading, or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of lab-grown diamonds and diamond treatments.
Experience handling premium or high-value diamonds and jewellery.
Marathi language proficiency is an added advantage.
