About the Role

Techdome is looking for an SDE III with 5+ years of experience building and owning production-grade web applications using the MERN stack.

You'll work on systems that handle sensitive healthcare data and financial transactions, where security, reliability, performance, and data integrity matter.

This is a hands-on role. You'll design and build features, own services end-to-end, review code, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to important technical decisions.

Experience with system design and architecture is a strong plus — we're looking for engineers who can think beyond their immediate code and understand how their decisions impact the larger system.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, React, MongoDB, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Own features and services from design and development through deployment and production support.

- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance APIs and applications.

- Review code and contribute to engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

- Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and observability.

- Collaborate with product, design, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions for new and existing systems.

- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical collaboration where required.

Must-Have

- 6+ years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js,



React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, database design, authentication/authorization, testing, and application security.

- Experience building and running production applications at scale.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Valuable understanding of CI/CD, Git, Docker, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

- Experience working in healthcare, fintech, banking, payments, insurance, or another high-stakes/regulated domain.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently own and deliver technical work.

Good to Have

- Experience with system design, architecture, and distributed systems.

- Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.

- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.

- Hands-on experience with HIPAA/PHI, PCI-DSS, or payment systems.

- Experience with platforms such as Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, or similar.

- Experience working in a consulting, product studio, or multi-product environment.

- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
