Better Works HR is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern will support Better Works HR’s online presence by assisting in planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, designing basic visuals, scheduling content, monitoring engagement metrics, and participating in brainstorming sessions for campaigns. The intern will also help with basic digital marketing activities such as tracking performance, conducting competitor research, and aligning content with broader marketing initiatives.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The position offers exposure to HR-focused branding and an opportunity to learn from experienced marketing and HR professionals.

This is not a role where you follow a content calendar.

We are looking for someone who can think, research, observe, suggest, execute, and take ownership. If you are constantly saving Reels, spotting content patterns, thinking of better hooks, noticing why one post worked and another didn't, and have a Notes app full of random content ideas, we'd love to hear from you.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Brainstorm fresh and relevant content ideas for different brands.
2. Contribute to monthly social media strategies and content plans.
3. Think of engaging Reels, carousels, memes, Stories, and campaign concepts.
4. Suggest content ideas based on audience behaviour, brand goals, and platform trends.
5. Help transform brand information into engaging, audience-centric content.
6. Research competitors, industries, audience behaviour, and content formats.




7. Track social media trends, trending audio, memes, hooks, and online conversations.
8. Identify content opportunities relevant to each brand instead of blindly following trends.
9. Study high-performing content and analyze why it performed well.
10. Research seasonal moments, cultural conversations, and campaign opportunities.
11. Assist in creating monthly content calendars and campaign plans.
12. Write and refine content briefs for designers and video editors.
13. Coordinate content requirements and ensure briefs are clear and complete.
14. Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
15. Review captions, creatives, audio, tags, and posting details before publishing.
16. Analyze account insights and content performance.
17. Identify patterns in reach, engagement, views, saves, shares, and audience response.
18. Recommend content formats and topics to repeat, improve, or discontinue based on performance data.
19. Track content timelines, pending requirements, and posting schedules.
20. Follow up proactively instead of waiting for reminders.
21. Flag delays, content gaps, or account concerns promptly.
22. Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure they are completed accurately.
23. Participate in discussions with ideas, observations, and potential solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and current trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and adapt to feedback.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with simple design tools (e.g., Canva) and analytics dashboards is an advantage.
