Position Overview

The Accounts & Compliance Asst. Manager/ Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s financial accounting, statutory compliance, and regulatory reporting functions. The role ensures adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and applicable laws, while maintaining accuracy and transparency in all financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expense control.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits, ensuring timely closure of audit queries.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with Ind AS / GAAP.
Supervise invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation of accounts.
Implement and maintain accounting controls and SOPs.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Qualified Tax,



and ROC filings.
File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns accurately and within deadlines.
Liaise with statutory authorities (GST, ROC, IT, etc.) and handle queries or inspections.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory and regulatory changes and their business impact.
Coordinate with consultants for secretarial compliance (Companies Act) and FEMA / RBI regulations where applicable.
Payroll & Employee Compliance
Verify and process monthly payroll accounting and statutory deductions.
Ensure accurate PF, ESIC, and TDS compliance for employees.
Prepare and issue Form 16 and annual compliance certificates.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare MIS reports for management on key financial and compliance metrics.
Support management in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for smooth operations.
