Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Business Development Manager – Food Consultancy, based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in the food sector, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients,



and promoting PQSmitra’s consultancy services focused on food safety, compliance, and sustainability. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, prepare proposals, participate in client meetings, and collaborate with technical consultants to design tailored solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, achieving targeted revenue goals, coordinating with internal teams for smooth project onboarding, and maintaining accurate records of business activities. The role also requires representing PQSmitra at industry events, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives within the food consultancy domain.
Qualifications
Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and relationship management in the food or consulting sector.
