Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Hardware Validation Engineer with 7–10 years of experience to lead the system-level validation and lab architecture for our next-generation industrial networking platform. You will be responsible for defining test methodologies, designing complex simulation environments for utility-grade infrastructure, and ensuring our products exceed rigorous international standards. You will act as the primary technical authority in the lab, bridging the gap between R&D;, product compliance, and production industrialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lab Strategy & Architecture: Design and oversee the development of large-scale test environments that simulate complex industrial networks, including rack-level integration, power distribution, and high-density cabling topologies.
System-Level Validation: Define and execute test plans for high-speed switching fabrics, high-precision timing protocols (PTP/IEEE 1588),
and network redundancy mechanisms (PRP/HSR) to ensure sub-microsecond performance.
Protocol & Performance Stress Testing: Lead system-level stress testing using high-end traffic generation and analysis tools to benchmark throughput, jitter, latency, and packet integrity under heavy network load.
Compliance & Certification Leadership: Spearhead the preparation for international industrial certifications (IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613). Manage the technical interface with external certification laboratories and drive root-cause analysis for any compliance failures.
Physical Layer Analysis: Oversee complex physical layer validation, including signal integrity analysis for multi-gigabit interfaces, power-over-ethernet (PoE) budget management, and transceiver interoperability testing.
Mentorship & Process Improvement: Define best practices for lab inventory management, test automation, and documentation. Provide
