Hungersate is hiring a trained X-Ray Screening Technician to support secure movement of premium food consignments across Hubs and high-security logistics points. The role focuses on X-ray screening, compliance, and safety checks for food parcels, kitchen equipment, and sealed consignments.

Key Responsibilities
Operate X-ray baggage / cargo screening machines for food consignments
Screen sealed food packages, raw materials, and equipment for prohibited items
Interpret X-ray images accurately (organic / inorganic / mixed materials)
Ensure compliance align with airport, cargo, and security SOPs
Maintain hygiene, safety, and handling standards during screening
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for clearance
Escalate anomalies or security concerns immediately
Maintain screening logs and shift records
Follow radiation safety and operational protocols

Mandatory Requirements
Certified X-Ray Screening / Baggage Screening Technician
Valid X-ray screening certification (Airport / Cargo / Security)




Strong image interpretation and attention to detail
Understanding of SOP-driven environments
Willingness to work rotational shifts
Physically and medically fit for screening duties

Experience in:
Airports / cargo terminals
Food logistics / catering operations
High-security screening settings
Familiarity with BCAS / airport security procedures
Experience handling sealed, time-sensitive consignments

Skills Required:
High alertness and focus
Process discipline
Transparent communication with ops teams
Calm decision-making under time pressure
Basic documentation & reporting
