Band Nine Academy, founded by Elizabeth John, a renowned IELTS coach in India, is an IELTS training institute based in Kottayam, Kerala, helping students achieve their desired band scores through personalized, strategy-focused training.

Role
We are looking for a student-focused Academic Counsellor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Kottayam, Kerala

Key Responsibilities
Call and connect with daily leads and understand their requirements.
Guide students based on their individual needs and provide appropriate course information.
Encourage and coordinate demo class attendance.
Follow up with leads regularly through calls and WhatsApp.
Build relationships with students and support them throughout their decision-making journey.




Convert interested leads into enrollments and maintain accurate lead records.

Preferred Candidate
Fluent in Malayalam and comfortable communicating with students in Malayalam. (Mandatory)
Excellent at talking to students, understanding their needs, and providing the right support.
Prior knowledge of IELTS, Spoken English, or PTE is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in IELTS, Spoken English, PTE, EdTech, education counselling, or admissions will be an advantage.
Strong communication, listening, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
Friendly, responsible, and student-focused approach.
