Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced General Sales Manager with strong expertise in sales strategy, dealer/distributor management, team leadership, market expansion, and channel development.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing large sales territories, developing dealer networks, achieving aggressive sales targets, and building strong relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, architects, builders, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for North India in line with company objectives.
Take complete ownership of sales targets, revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
Lead and manage the regional sales team, including Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and other sales personnel.
Set monthly, quarterly,



and annual sales targets and ensure timely achievement.
Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network across assigned territories.
Identify recent markets, business opportunities, and potential channel partners.
Maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, builders, contractors, architects, and institutional customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and product positioning.
Develop strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
Work closely with the management to prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and expansion strategies.
Ensure effective implementation of company pricing, discount, incentive, and sales schemes.
Monitor secondary sales, primary sales, stock levels, outstanding payments, and dealer performance.
Review sales performance through regular DSR, ageing, target-vs-achievement, and territory-wise reports.
