Role:Social Media Assistant

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to work closely with a public-facing personality and support their social media presence. You’ll be responsible for capturing their world and turning everyday moments, experiences and conversations into engaging content that resonates with their audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be present and proactively identify moments, conversations and experiences that can be transformed into engaging social media content.
- Shoot and edit high-quality Reels, Stories and short-form content with quick turnaround times.
- Stay up to date with Instagram trends, memes, formats and evolving internet culture.
- Develop relevant and engaging content ideas and adapt current trends to suit the personality, brand and audience.
- Monitor and track content performance to understand audience behaviour and identify what content performs best.
- Take ownership of content from ideation to execution, with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a consistent standard of quality across all social media content.





What We’re Looking For:

- A strong understanding of social media, particularly Instagram, and current internet culture.
- Excellent content instincts with the ability to identify what makes a moment engaging or shareable.
- A positive eye for visual quality, storytelling and presentation.
- Solid shooting and editing skills, with experience creating short-form social media content.
- Ability to work quickly and deliver content within tight timelines.
- A proactive and self-driven approach with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working with creators, artists, public personalities or personal brands will be an added advantage.

Working Style: This is a hands-on role and may involve an unpredictable schedule depending on shoots, events and content requirements. The candidate should be comfortable with travel, shoots, weekends, holidays, early mornings or late nights, whenever required.
