Experience : 5+ years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Related field
Prior experience in TV/Digital newsroom preferred
Salary Package: Upto 7.2 LPA
The Output Editor is responsible for overseeing the final content output of the news desk, ensuring accuracy, clarity, editorial quality, and timely delivery across all platforms (TV/Digital/Print). The role involves coordinating with reporters, input desk, producers, and graphic teams to deliver high-quality news content.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, edit, and approve news scripts before publication/broadcast
Ensure factual accuracy, language quality, and editorial standards
Coordinate with reporters, input desk, and anchors for story development
Prioritize and manage breaking news situations effectively
Monitor live feeds and ensure smooth newsroom workflow
Write and rewrite headlines, tickers, and summaries
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
Supervise bulletin lineup and rundown preparation
Maintain quality control for scripts, visuals, and graphics
Meet daily deadlines under pressure
Requirements:
Solid command of language (English/Tamil - preferred)
Excellent news judgment and editorial decision-making
Ability to work in rapid-paced newsroom workplace
Strong coordination and leadership skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of newsroom software and broadcast systems
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
