Position: Interior Designer
Location: Gurugram
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Experience Required: 2+ years
About the role:
Key Responsibilities:
Understand Business Goals & Scope of interior design in defined constraints:
Understand the needs, preferences & objectives for the business
Develop design concepts and mood boards that align with budget constraints, timeline and project scope.
Provide cost effective recommendations and solutions on materials, furniture, layouts, color schemes, lighting, decor and other design elements.
Design Concept Development:
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and innovations in design.
Create detailed design plans, sketches, and renderings that clearly communicate the overall concept, materials, and layout.
Develop mood boards, color palettes, 2D/3D visualizations, and presentation drawings and material samples for different varieties of layouts
Support marketing with interior renderings, walk-throughs, & sample flats.
Select furniture, lighting, decor, fixtures,
and finishes that align with the aesthetic vision and functionality of the space.
Space Planning:
Utilize space efficiently to create functional, accessible & aesthetically pleasing layouts.
Consider safety, comfort, and flow of traffic within the space.
Identify & collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure that design concepts are feasible and align with structural requirements.
Project Management:
Oversee the execution of design projects, within timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with site supervisors, vendors/contractors to source materials.
Manage project budgets, invoices, and procurement processes.
Technical Skills:
Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Coohom or other design tools) to create technical drawings and 3D models.
Site Visits:
Conduct in office inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards are met, and address any issues that may arise during installation or construct
