Position: ITI Fitter
Location: Kanpur Metro Depot (KANPUR)
Employment Type: Full time / Urgent
Age Limit: 21 to 28 years
Job Description & Responsibilities
Maintenance & Assembly: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and assembly of mechanical components and machinery within the depot.
Technical Execution: Interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings to carry out precision fitting tasks.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industrial standards to ensure a hazard-free working setting.
Tool Management: Efficiently handle hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, etc.) for equipment calibration.
Reporting:
Maintain daily logs of maintenance activities and report any major mechanical discrepancies to the site supervisor.
Education: Must possess an ITI Certification in Fitter Trade from a recognized institute.
Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, welding, and structural fitting.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work in shifts and handle the physical demands of a depot setting.
