Position Overview
The Head - Liaisoningwill lead the organization’s regulatory strategy, statutory approvals. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and municipal departments to secure all project-related permissions within defined timelines.
The position requires deep knowledge of real estate laws, solid government relations, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks while safeguarding the organization’s legal and compliance interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Government Relations
Develop and execute the company’s government liaisoning and regulatory engagement strategy.
Build and maintain solid qualified relationships with government officials, regulatory authorities, and municipal departments.
Represent the organization in policy discussions, regulatory meetings, and government forums related to the real estate sector.
Act as the primary interface between the organization and government bodies.
Statutory Approvals & Regulatory Management
Lead the process of securing all statutory approvals required for commercial real estate and construction projects.
Monitor compliance with local development regulations, land laws, and construction regulations.
Legal & Compliance Oversight
Provide legal advisory on land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and statutory permissions.
Ensure company operations comply with applicable laws.
Coordinate with internal legal teams and external consultants on compliance matters.
Project Approval Management
Work closely with project management, engineering, design, and legal teams to align regulatory approvals with project timelines.
