Position Overview

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Desktop Engineer to join our Corporate IT team. This role independently designs, deploys, and manages end-user computing settings across Windows and macOS platforms. The Desktop Engineer owns day-to-day desktop operations, drives security and compliance adherence, and contributes to process improvements and automation.



This role operates with mínimal supervision, serves as a technical resource for the team, and mentors Associate-level engineers
What You’ll Do

Desktop & Device Management
Independently design, configure, and support Windows and macOS end-user computing environments with mínimal direction.
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot macOS devices using Kandji or JAMF Pro; contribute to policy and configuration improvements.
Manage and optimize Windows client environments using Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies and app deployments.
Own OS provisioning, patch management, and software packaging and deployment cycles within established frameworks.
Participate in hardware refresh planning and contribute to asset lifecycle tracking.
Support onboarding workflows, including device setup, account provisioning coordination, and recent hire imaging.
