Department: EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety)
Location: Mechtech Inframine Pvt. Ltd. (Workshop / Project Site)
Reporting To: Safety Manager / Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:1. Safety Implementation & Monitoring
Assist in enforcing company safety policies and procedures on shop floor and project sites
Monitor daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, grinding, lifting operations)
Ensure protected usage of heavy machinery such as cranes, presses, and material handling equipment
Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory compliance documents
Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws and regulations (Factory Act, ISO standards, etc.)
Assist in safety audits and inspections (internal & external)
Prepare daily/weekly safety reports
Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
Assist in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessment
Ensure implementation of control measures for high-risk activities




Monitor permit-to-work system (hot work, height work, confined space, lifting)
Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction for current employees and contractors
Assist in organizing safety training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
Promote safety culture and awareness on the shop floor
Ensure proper use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles, etc.)
Incident Management
Report and investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
Maintain incident records and follow-up
Emergency Preparedness
Support emergency response planning (fire, injury, equipment failure)
Participate in mock drills and evacuation procedures
Ensure availability of firefighting equipment and first-aid kits
