Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Electrical design process for power transformers and support internal connections, electrical layouts, and overall transformer design.
Understanding magnetic fields, flux, permeability, and losses (hysteresis and eddy current).
Design and optimize internal electrical connections and layouts to ensure maximum operational efficiency and safety of power transformers.
Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO, IEC, IEEE, and other relevant guidelines in transformer design and manufacturing processes.
Conduct and contribute to DFMEA assessments to identify potential design risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Utilize failure analysis techniques like Root Cause Analysis (RCA),8D,5 Why & fishbone to investigate and address transformer failures or underperformance.
Work closely with engineering teams, production units, and external stakeholders to refine and improve transformer designs.
Maintain thorough design documentation, including specifications, test reports, and compliance records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in power transformer design or related areas.
