The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the management team with analytical financial reporting. This role requires a qualified capable of managing the full accounting cycle with mínimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Ledger Management
Maintain and oversee the General Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with Standard Accounting Practices (GAAP/IFRS).
Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
Prepare and file periodic statutory returns (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, or local equivalents).
Ensure adherence to all local financial regulations and internal corporate governance policies.
Assist in the facilitation of annual statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)
Supervise the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments and optimized cash flow.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement effective collection strategies to minimize credit risk.
Verify and process employee expense claims and payroll disbursements.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly management reports, including Variance Analysis (Actual vs. Budget).
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.
