About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Assist cardiac surgeons and cardiologists during surgical and interventional procedures.
Prepare and arrange cardiac surgical instruments, implants, consumables, and equipment.
Maintain strict aseptic and infection control standards within the OT.
Perform scrubbing duties during cardiac surgeries and related procedures.
Ensure proper counting and handling of surgical instruments and materials.
Assist in patient preparation before surgery.
Coordinate with CSSD and OT teams regarding instrument sterilization and availability.
Monitor and maintain cardiac OT equipment.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of Operation Theatre experience.
At least 1 year of exposure to Cardiac OT, Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Surgery, or Interventional Cardiology preferred.
Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be an advantage.
