Qualification

Master’s Degree (The Leadership Standard): typically an M.Ed. (Master of Education) or B.Ed (Bachelor's in Education).

Professional Experience typically requires 10 to 15 years of total experience in the school system. Acceptable roles include:

Duties & Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
Curriculum Management: Overseeing the implementation of curriculum standards in line with educational boards (e.g., CBSE) and ensuring teachers have the necessary resources.
Instructional Supervision: Evaluating classroom teaching methods, observing lessons, and providing feedback to teachers to maintain high instructional standards.
Student Achievement: Monitoring academic performance metrics, standardized test results, and developing strategies to support struggling students while challenging high achievers.
Personnel Management & Staff Development
Recruitment & Hiring: Selecting, interviewing, and appointing qualified teaching and non-teaching staff.




Performance Evaluations: Conducting annual performance reviews, setting qualified goals for staff, and identifying areas for improvement.
Career development: Organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars to keep faculty updated on up-to-date pedagogy, digital tools, and classroom management techniques.
Financial & Operational Administration
Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Collaborating with the school management committee or board to draft the annual budget, control expenditures, and allocate funds efficiently.
Infrastructure & Safety: Ensuring the school campus is safe, clean, and structurally sound. This includes overseeing security protocols, emergency drills (fire, medical emergencies), and maintenance of labs, libraries, and transport.
