About Nightingales Smriti Gram - The Dementia Care Village:
Nightingales Smriti Gram is a groundbreaking initiative of Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT), envisioned as a benchmark model for dementia care in India. It builds upon over two decades of NMT’s pioneering experience in dementia care and caregiver support. Located in a 5 acre serene green campus near Doddaballapura, Bengaluru, Smriti Gram is designed to provide a protected, enabling,



dignified, person-centred, comprehensive care ecosystem for elders living with dementia, in a 5 acre serene campus near Doddaballapura, Bengaluru. Once fully operational, this 300-bed dementia village will be among the largest of its kind globally, offering a comprehensive and compassionate ecosystem for persons living with dementia. In the first phase, a 100-bed facility fully dedicated to the care of elderly people with dementia from marginalized families is being set up, expected to be operational by Sept 2026. A training and research academy is also being established at Smriti Gram, integrating care, training, and research in Dementia.

Job Responsibilities
To check blood pressure, vitals, and sugar levels of all patients, including those having dementia and having other Psychiatric issues, and record it.
Accompany the doctor on rounds and inform of any medical issues.
