Qualification: Graduation/Postgraduation in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent)

SDS focuses on strengthening community development, livelihoods, institutional capacity, and sustainable development programmes.

Position Overview
The Finance Assistant will support the organization in day-to-day financial operations, accounting, project finance, compliance, documentation, reporting, and audit-related activities. The role requires robust attention to detail and the ability to independently manage financial records while coordinating with project and programme teams.




Candidates with hands-on experience in NGO/Development Sector finance, FCRA compliance, donor-funded projects, and project accounting will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts, financial records, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
Process and verify vendor invoices, payments, reimbursements, advances, and expense claims.
Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain project-wise and donor-wise expenditure records.
Track fund utilization and ensure expenses are appropriately allocated to projects/budgets.
Assist in monthly and periodic financial closing activities.
Budgeting & Financial Reporting
Assist in preparation of project budgets, financial statements, expenditure statements, and MIS reports.
Monitor project-wise budget utilization and identify budget variances.
Prepare project expenditure summaries and financial repo
