Designation: Nitration Plant Operator:
Experience: 2 to 5 years (Mandatory experience in a Nitration Plant)
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month (CTC)
Location: Dahej, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
Process Monitoring: Handle the charging of raw materials and monitoring of temperature, pressure, and pH levels during the nitration process.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate reactors, cooling systems, and separation equipment specific to nitration chemistry.
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous chemicals like concentrated acids.
Documentation: Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records (BMR) and logbooks for every shift.
Quality Control: Ensure the final product meets specified quality standards by conducting in-process checks.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: ITI (AOCP/LACP) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering / B.Sc Chemistry.
Experience:
Proven track record in a nitration-based chemical manufacturing setting.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with exothermic reactions, acid handling, and unit operations.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work in rotating shifts and handle the physical demands of a plant workplace.
