Key ResponsibilitiesExport Operations Management
Plan and manage end-to-end export logistics activities.
Coordinate shipment schedules with production, warehouse, and sales teams.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of export consignments.
Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues proactively.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and verify export documentation including:
Commercial Invoices
Packing Lists
Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
Certificate of Origin
Phytosanitary Certificates (if applicable)
Insurance Documents
Export Declarations
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
Freight & Transportation Management
Negotiate rates and service agreements with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and freight forwarders.
Optimize freight costs while maintaining service quality.
Track vessel schedules and coordinate container bookings.
Manage shipment delays, claims, and exceptions.
Customer & Vendor Coordination
Serve as the primary contact for logistics-related communication with international customers.
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, shipping agents, and freight partners.
Provide shipment updates and maintain customer satisfaction.
Cost Control & Reporting
Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost-saving prospects.
Prepare export logistics reports and performance metrics.
Analyze freight costs, transit times, and operational efficiency.
Team Management
Lead and supervise export logistics personnel.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train team members on export documentation, compliance, and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
Additional certification in Export-Import Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
