Role : Site Training Lead

Designation : Manager / Sr. Manager

Reporting to : Head Plant Training (Corporate)

Location : Govandi, Mumbai

Experience: 12-17 years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday(2nd and 4th Saturday off, 1st,3rd and 5th Saturday operational)

Function : Plant Training

Role Objective To manage site training activities in compliance with the training concept at USV, regulatory standards, and best practices to maximize the effectiveness of the plant training function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery & Execution

● Execute and monitor training procedures on the electronic Learning Management System

(eLMS).

● Coordinate and execute all planned and unplanned site training activities.

● Conduct trainee and trainer effectiveness checks.

● Develop and maintain role curricula across all site departments and job roles.

● Ensure completion of role-based training for new hires prior to operational work.

● Measurement Criteria: Zero critical observations during corporate/external reviews;

100% target adherence.

Compliance & Regulatory Standards

● Conduct the annual Training Need Identification (TNID) process at the site.

● Formulate and execute the annual site training plan (covering Mandatory, Technical,

EHS, and HR domains).

● Maintain centralized site training databases (manual/electronic).

● Generate monthly MIS reports and quarterly presentations on site training compliance.

● Measurement Criteria: Adherence to compliance targets and zero critical audit observations.

People & Organization Development

● Execute, monitor, and maintain training programs and databases for contractor staff.

● Deliver onboarding modules on core regulatory topics (GMP, GDP, Data Integrity, etc.).

● Deploy electronic tools to drive digital learning delivery across site teams.

● Measurement Criteria:



Target completion rates; zero critical findings during audits.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

● Implement corporate training initiatives and drive site-wide continuous improvement ideas.

● Apply AI, LLM, and prompt engineering tools to modernize L&D; initiatives.

● Drive awareness programs around quality culture and training excellence.

● Measurement Criteria: Timely project execution and target fulfillment.

Budgetary Management

● Formulate annual site training budgets based on annual training plans and site operational needs.

● Present budget projections to corporate leadership for formal approval.

● Track budget utilization and report progress regularly to the Corporate Training Head.

● Measurement Criteria: Adherence to allocated budget targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience and Relevant Skills

● Experience: 12–17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

● Skills: Proficient software and computer operating skills; robust expertise in technical training administration.

● Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

systems, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and Data Integrity (DI) principles;

practical understanding of AI, LLM applications, and prompt engineering in L&D.;

Academic Qualifications & Certifications

● Educational Qualification: Pharmacy Post Graduate / Graduate / M.Sc. / MBA.

● Certifications: Mandatory computer operating and relevant software skills certifications.
