Site Engineer – Real Estate Development

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction site supervision, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings and communicate technical requirements clearly to site teams and contractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, progress, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues in coordination with the concerned consultants and project management team.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Monitor material requirements, deliveries, consumption, storage, and wastage at the site.
- Verify measurements and quantities of completed works and assist in checking contractor bills and work progress.




- Ensure construction activities are completed within the approved project schedule and budget.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress records, material records, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely closure of observations, snags, and quality issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices at the project site.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure corrective measures are implemented wherever required.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on site progress, challenges, material requirements, and execution status.
- Assist in planning upcoming activities and identifying potential delays or site constraints in advance.
- Support the Project Manager/Project Engineer in achieving project milestones and successful project completion.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in site engineering, construction supervision, or real estate development. (Can be adjusted based on the level of the position.)
- Solid knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, finishing works, and site execution.
- Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings and construction documentation.




- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project/Primavera, or other relevant project-planning tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity measurement, billing, material estimation, and contractor coordination will be an advantage.
- Understanding of applicable building standards, quality requirements, and site safety practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently at the site and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and commitment to quality.

Pay: ₹58,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
