Job description:
Counsellor - Part Time

Working Days: Only 2 Days in a week (You can choose your own Days)

Working Hours: 6 hours a Day

Location: Bengaluru -Kalyani Nagar - Pune

Major Responsibilities & Areas of Work:
[A] Planning:
Carry out the psychological assessment of the beneficiaries so that appropriate interventions can be planned out.
Conduct individual sessions at the time of Admission & Discharge.
Evaluate continually throughout the stay to accurately assess the results of the specific interventions and modify goals and methods as needed, by conducting Psychological Assessments (i.e., Admission/ Intermediates/ Discharge).
Plan & prepare generic coping & behavior modification tools that can be used as and when required, on a case-to-case basis. Minimum 2 sessions to be carried out for each family per month.

[B] Individual and Group Counselling:
Conduct Monthly/ Weekly/ Emergency based Centre-wise group sessions on different relevant topics.
Conduct one-to-one counseling on regular basis with all beneficiaries in respective centers.




Liaison with OM/ CM / CC and address any specific issues that may be faced at the centre.
Conduct Palliative / Bereavement counseling as required.
Conduct telephonic counseling of the families who are at the hospital for a longer duration.

[C] Discharge Assessment:
Conduct a discharge assessment of each child and make them understand how it is more significant to take care of them at home after discharge.
Do an assessment and prepare a chart in the Impact report to get a proper glimpse of how counseling sessions played a role in it.

[D] Follow-up Children:
Conduct follow-up counseling of the child to understand how he is been taken care of in his hometown.
Are any takeaway activities given to the child if yes have they done that? and how it helped the child when he/ she was at home?

[E] Documentation:
Maintain daily work on google sheets and fill forms for each child accordingly.
