Requirement For Field Service Engineer - Welding Machines

Location: Chakan

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of welding machines at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with welding equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of welding machines.
Collaborate with customers to identify their specific needs and provide appropriate solutions, including recommending equipment upgrades or modifications.
Document all service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions, in accordance with company procedures.
Provide training and technical support to customers and internal staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of welding machines.
Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in welding equipment maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 1 yearsof experience in servicing and repairing welding machines, preferably in a field service or customer support role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues in welding equipment.
Robust knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible schedule as needed.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
