Position Summary
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
Identify and acquire current customers for international and domestic air freight services.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure current business.
Prepare and submit competitive freight quotations and proposals.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain solid relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Understand customer logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management.
Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with operations teams for service delivery.
Market & Trade Development
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Identify opportunities in key trade lanes and industry sectors.
Collaborate with overseas agents and carrier partners to develop business opportunities.
Coordination & Operations Support
Work closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Coordinate with airlines, vendors, and overseas partners when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Reporting & Performance Management
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Track sales KPIs, revenue growth, gross profit, and customer acquisition metrics.
Achieve assigned sales targets and profitability objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Air Freight Sales within a Freight Forwarding
