Machine Operation
Operate CNC Turning, Milling, VMC, HMC, or other CNC machines as assigned.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Start, monitor, and stop machine operations as per SOPs.
Ensure production is carried out according to daily production plans.
Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities immediately.
Setup & Programming Support
Perform machine setup as per job requirements.
Load CNC programs and verify machining parameters.
Change tools, inserts, fixtures, and work offsets when required.
Assist CNC Programmers and Setters during current job setups.
Quality Control
Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Use measuring instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
Bore Gauge
Dial Indicator
Ensure products meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
Maintain inspection records and production reports.
Machine Maintenance
Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of machines.
Check lubrication, coolant levels, and machine condition.
Report machine breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
Maintain housekeeping around the work area.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Ensure secure handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
Participate in safety training and toolbox talks.
Maintain 5S standards in the workplace.
Educational Qualification
ITI (Machinist / Turner / Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
CNC Operator certification preferred.
