An manages electrical power systems, troubleshoots equipment breakdowns, and ensures secure, uninterrupted plant operations during assigned work shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Shift Operations: Execute shift plans and maintain reliable high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power distribution systems.

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in motors, breakers, transformers, and control panels (MCC/PCC).

- Breakdown Management: Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize plant downtime and coordinate with production teams.

- Safety Compliance: Enforce electrical safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and statutory compliance standards.

- Team Guidance: Supervise shift technicians, assign daily tasks,



and monitor attendance or contractor activities.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical & Electronics).

- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on plant maintenance or electrical systems experience in a manufacturing or continuous-process environment.

- Technical Skills: Ability to read electrical schematics, knowledge of VFDs/drives, and familiarity with PLC/DCS control systems.
