ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of custom applications and integrations. You will work with up-to-date ServiceNow features like UI Builder and Flow Designer to deliver automated, efficient solutions that drive organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Custom Application Development: Design and develop applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural best practices

- Platform Modernization: Use UI Builder and Workspace configuration to build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and agent experiences

- Scripting: Develop workflows and business logic using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow server/client-side scripting

- Automation & Integration: Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub

- Workflow Orchestration: Build automated processes via Flow Designer and support request fulfillment through the Service Catalog

- Process Alignment: Apply working knowledge of ITSM processes and CMDB to help maintain data integrity and platform health

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience within the ServiceNow platform in a developer capacity

- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow-specific APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, etc.)

Experience building and deploying Custom Applications

- Contemporary Toolset: Working experience with UI Builder and Workspace configuration

- Integration & Automation: Working knowledge of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP web service integrations

- Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model, CMDB structures, and core ITSM modules

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly preferred

- Advanced Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus

- Quality Assurance: Exposure to the Automated Test Framework (ATF)

- Front-End Extension: Knowledge of Service Portal or custom components for UI Builder
