Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Solar Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of solar power systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of solar PV systems and providing timely technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Inspect solar panels, inverters, cables, mounting structures, and other system components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues in solar systems.
- Attend customer service complaints and provide timely technical solutions.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of rooftop and other solar installations.
- Monitor system performance and identify issues affecting power generation.
- Perform inverter configuration, fault diagnosis, and basic troubleshooting.
- Check electrical connections, earthing, protection systems, and cable routing.
- Coordinate with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams for service activities.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and site inspection reports.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to safety standards and company procedures.




- Travel to customer sites as required for installation and service activities.
- Maintain proper records of service calls, spare parts, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in solar PV installation, service, or maintenance preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of solar inverters, panels, batteries, cables, and protection devices.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to project/customer sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
