Senior Power BI Developer

Position Overview
The Senior Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, developing interactive dashboards, and ensuring data integrity. The Sr. Power BI Developer will lead the design of scalable data models and create customized reports to help drive business decisions. This position requires a deep understanding of data analytics, ETL processes, and Power BI features, as well as the ability to provide strategic insight into BI best practices. This position will report to the Director – Enterprise Data and BI.

Essential Functions
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
- Develop data models,



perform data transformations, and integrate various data sources to create comprehensive dashboards.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability, ensuring quick response times and productive data processing.
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing reports and dashboards as business needs evolve.
- Develop and manage Power BI datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Provide technical expertise in Power BI architecture, DAX, Power Query, and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with data team members to ensure effective data integration and ETL processes.
- Peer review and test work completed by other Power BI developers.
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI updates and emerging trends in data visualization and business intelligence.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all Power BI solutions and workflows.
