Role Description The Senior Windchill Developer role is a part-time, remote position responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Windchill PLM solutions to support client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing customizations, workflows, and integrations; troubleshooting and resolving application issues; and enhancing performance, security, and usability.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, translating requirements into technical solutions, and preparing technical documentation and deployment plans.

Developer may also guide junior team members, participate in code reviews, and contribute to best practices and standards for Windchill development.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Windchill PLM configuration, customization, workflow design, and system administration.
- Experience with Java-based development, web services, APIs, and integrating Windchill with other enterprise systems.
- Solid understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, and related engineering/manufacturing processes.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable technical solutions, and produce transparent technical documentation.
- Comfort working in remote, distributed teams with effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Experience with version control tools, SDLC best practices, and secure coding standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in client-facing consulting roles or IT services organizations is advantageous.
