About The Event Designer The Event Designer is a luxury wedding planning and design company specialising in high-end Indian and destination weddings across India and international locations. From venue selection and creative design to hospitality, logistics and on-ground execution, we manage every aspect of a wedding with exceptional attention to detail.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Wedding Planner who can independently manage luxury weddings from the first client meeting through final execution.

Role and Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of luxury weddings and multiple wedding functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families throughout the planning process
- Understand client requirements and translate them into detailed wedding plans, budgets, timelines and presentations
- Coordinate with hotels, venues, décor teams, caterers, artists, production agencies and other vendors
- Conduct venue visits, vendor meetings, rehearsals and detailed planning discussions
- Manage guest hospitality, accommodation, transportation and wedding logistics
- Prepare and maintain checklists, responsibility matrices, production schedules and event-day timelines
- Negotiate with vendors, track costs and ensure that approved budgets are followed
- Lead internal teams and external partners during planning and on-ground execution
- Anticipate challenges,



resolve problems quickly and ensure a seamless experience for clients and guests
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, communication and attention to detail at every stage

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wedding planning or event management
- Proven experience independently managing large-scale Indian weddings, preferably luxury or destination weddings
- Strong understanding of wedding operations, hospitality, décor, production, entertainment and guest management
- Excellent client-management, communication and presentation skills
- Robust budgeting, negotiation and vendor-management abilities
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead teams and perform effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other planning and presentation tools
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible or extended hours during wedding executions
