3. JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Officer, Data & Evaluation will anchor and lead all Research, Monitoring & Evaluation (RM&E;) related activities at the State level. Based in Jharkhand, the position will report directly to the Senior Lead, Implementation, with dotted-line reporting to the Senior Lead, Data and Evaluation – RM&E; at the Country Office in Delhi.





The role will involve regular travel within the state for monitoring and technical support and will contribute to strengthening government-led monitoring systems, assessments, data collection and analysis, and the use of data for decision-making. The incumbent will serve as the key point of contact for all RM&E; functions at the State level and work closely with programme teams, government stakeholders and the India Country Office RM&E; team to ensure the quality implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation processes.

Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Research, Monitoring & Evaluation (RM&E;) activities at the State level in line with program and government priorities;
(2) Coordinate with district teams and government officials to ensure smooth data collection, validation, and reporting processes. -driven decision-making;
