Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Hyderabad.



The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Laika IIoT’s edge hardware platforms, ensuring robustness, manufacturability, and compliance with industrial standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations and simulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integration, and supporting prototype build, testing, and validation. The role also involves contributing to research and development initiatives, optimizing existing designs, resolving engineering issues on the production floor, and documenting specifications and test results. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with product, electronics, and software teams to ensure that mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with sensors, gateways, and industrial environments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial hardware and edge compute systems.
