Role Summary
We are seeking an Freelance qualified lawyer to review U.S. court opinions and perform legal citation and case-treatment annotation.

Responsibilities
Review court opinions provided in HTML format.
Identify and validate case-law citations, including full citations, short forms, Id., and reporter references.
Group multiple citations referring to the same legal authority.
Identify relevant Evidence Text showing how the court discusses or treats a cited case.
Classify case treatment, direction, and severity based on project guidelines.

Qualifications
LL.B./B.A. LL.B. or equivalent law degree from India.
2+ years of legal research, litigation, case-law review, or legal annotation experience preferred.
Solid ability to read and interpret judicial opinions.
Familiarity with U.S. case law and legal citations is strongly preferred.
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured annotation guidelines.
