Role Description The Assistant Professor for Sociology at IEC College Of Engineering & Technology will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Sociology, design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars, and guide students in academic projects and dissertations.



The role involves developing and updating curricula, preparing course materials, assessing student performance, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The faculty member will engage in scholarly research, publish in academic journals, participate in conferences, and contribute to departmental and institutional academic initiatives. Responsibilities also include participation in committees, student outreach, and collaboration with colleagues on interdisciplinary programs and activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Noida.
Qualifications
Robust academic background and subject expertise in Sociology and related social sciences.
Skills in Anthropology and Education to support interdisciplinary teaching and student development.
