The Opportunity

MSD is a global biopharmaceutical company using technology, data, analytics, and insights to support medicines, vaccines, and animal health products.

The role is based at the Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid mode with at least three days onsite and two days remote.

The Full-Stack Software Engineer will design, develop, deploy, and support secure, scalable solutions across user interface, API, data, cloud, and AI layers.

Role Responsibilities

- Develop full-stack applications and configurations with global cross-functional teams.
- Build responsive interfaces, secure APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native services.
- Build GenAI applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI integrations with enterprise systems.
- Design testing strategies, deploy and monitor cloud applications, and improve production AI systems.
- Apply secure engineering practices and contribute to Agile delivery, architecture, mentoring, standards, and reusable code.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7-11 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Experience building cloud-native applications and deploying production solutions.
- Strong Python skills plus at least one additional stack such as TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or .NET.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, AI applications, and agentic workflows.





Primary Skills

- Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
- Experience with vector databases and search technologies such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or FAISS.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, containers, serverless architectures, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Experience with LLMOps, AI monitoring, model evaluation, prompt management, versioning, and production observability.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, Agile/Scrum, code review, testing, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Secondary Skills
- AWS or GCP certifications and cloud-native pattern experience are preferred.
- Distributed data processing, secure data integrations, UX and design thinking, accessibility, performance, globally distributed teams, and regulated-industry experience are preferred.
