We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Consultant with 5+ years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution to join our team. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in SAP SD, SAP S/4HANA, and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and configuring SAP SD solutions, supporting implementation and enhancement projects, and working closely with business users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional solutions.
- Perform SAP SD configuration and customization based on business requirements.
- Work on the complete Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle, including:
- Customer Master / Business Partner
- Inquiry and Quotation
- Sales Order Processing
- Pricing
- Availability Check
- Delivery and Shipping
- Picking and Post Goods Issue
- Billing and Invoicing
- Returns and Credit/Debit Processes
- Configure and support:
- Sales Document Types
- Item Categories
- Schedule Line Categories
- Copy Controls
- Partner Determination
- Pricing Procedures
- Output Determination
- Billing
- Credit Management
- Shipping and Delivery processes
- Work on SAP S/4HANA SD processes and functionalities.
- Analyze and resolve functional issues raised by business users.
- Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements and coordinate with ABAP developers.
- Work on integration between SAP SD and other modules such as MM, FI/CO and PP.
- Handle interfaces and integration scenarios involving IDocs, EDI and external systems.
- Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis and solution design.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios and test cases.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment, Go-Live and post-Go-Live support activities.
- Coordinate with business users, technical teams and other functional consultants.
- Provide production support and perform root-cause analysis for critical issues.
- Participate in enhancement, rollout and implementation projects.
- Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end OTC business processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration.
- Strong knowledge of pricing, sales order management, delivery, shipping and billing.
- Good understanding of customer master / Business Partner in S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP SD integration with MM and FI/CO.
- Good understanding of IDoc/EDI integration.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP teams.
- Experience in production support and issue resolution.
- Experience in testing activities including SIT and UAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout project.
- SAP S/4HANA certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in global implementation or rollout projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori.
- Exposure to S/4HANA Output Management / BRF+.
- Knowledge of GST, e-Invoicing and other India localization processes will be an advantag
