Job Summary:

nPolicybazaar is hiring an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Direct Channel business for our Insurance vertical in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, team management, and business development, with the ability to drive regional sales performance and manage large multi-level teams.

nKey Responsibilities:

- Drive regional business growth and achieve sales targets for the Insurance business.
n
- Lead and manage a large field sales team comprising:
n
- Assistant Managers (AM)
n
- Deputy Managers (DM)
n
- Team Leaders (TL)
n
- Field Sales Executives (FSE)
n
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
n
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and target achievement.
n
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
n
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
n
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities.
n
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
n

nDesired Candidate Profile

n

n
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Sales,



preferably in Insurance, BFSI, or Financial Services.
n
- Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and multi-layer field sales teams.
n
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
n
- Experience in Direct Channel (Open Market) sales is mandatory.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
n
- Handled more than 300+ employees.
n
- Knowledge of the regional language (Marathi) is mandatory.
n
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
n

nWorking Schedule

- 6 Days Working
n
- Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days
n
- One rotational weekly off.
n
