Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing technical guidance on tooling and cutting solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to address complex application requirements.

Engineer will analyze customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, support trials, and follow up to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.



The role also requires maintaining accurate sales forecasts, reporting market trends, and contributing to sales strategy and revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and technical solutioning skills, with experience in tooling, cutting tools, or metal machining applications.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead generation, account management, and building long-term client relationships.
- Ability to provide Technical Support, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation abilities and confident interaction with customers at multiple organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior sales or sales engineering role within industrial, manufacturing, or tooling domains.
- Solid analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented and customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industrial locations as required.
