Job Brief:

- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic qualified to join our Sales department as a Senior Relationship Officer specializing in Gold Loan products. This role demands a strategic individual with a deep understanding of the financial services sector, particularly in secured lending. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and expanding the gold loan portfolio by building strong client relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, risk assessment, and cross-selling of banking products to meet the bank's growth objectives while maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive gold loan business growth.
- Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments of gold loan applicants to ensure adherence to the bank’s lending policies.
- Evaluate the quality and authenticity of gold collateral in coordination with the appraisal team to mitigate risks.




- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to gold loan disbursement and recovery.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to design and implement targeted campaigns for gold loan products.
- Monitor loan repayment schedules and coordinate with the collections team to manage overdue accounts effectively.
- Provide expert advice to clients on gold loan products, interest rates, and repayment options to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and competitor analysis for senior management review.
- Train and mentor junior relationship officers to enhance their skills in client management and product knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling other banking products and services to gold loan customers to maximize revenue.
