Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Insurance Agent at Mitra. The Insurance Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their coverage needs, explain policy options, and recommend suitable insurance products across health, life, home, and cyber categories. Responsibilities include conducting virtual consultations, preparing quotations, guiding customers through policy enrollment, and maintaining accurate records in Mitra’s systems.
The role also involves coordinating with claim experts, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the policy lifecycle. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, meet sales and service targets, and stay updated on product changes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong Insurance Sales and Insurance knowledge, with the ability to explain products clearly and ethically.
Experience in Insurance Brokerage or similar roles, including handling multiple carriers or product lines.
Basic to intermediate Finance understanding to interpret premiums, perks, and policy terms.
Excellent Customer Service skills, including empathy, active listening, and prompt follow-up.
Relevant experience in insurance or financial services; prior remote or virtual sales experience is an advantage.
