Our Platform Engineering & AI Enablement team develops the enterprise's AI backbone, including MCP servers, authentication frameworks, and multi-agent systems. They deploy an AI development platform organization-wide, creating infrastructure to ensure AI agents are secure, observable, and governable at scale.

Seeking a Software Engineer II to join the AI enablement team and develop backend services supporting enterprise AI initiatives. Responsibilities include MCP server development, AuthN/AuthZ frameworks, API governance, and orchestration platforms. This role offers real ownership of production systems and opportunities to gain expertise in a rapidly evolving area of enterprise software.
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
Designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs supporting enterprise agentic AI initiatives.




Developing and enhancing Model Context Protocol servers, incorporating internal and external tools and data sources into the agent ecosystem.
Implementing AuthN/AuthZ frameworks (OAuth2/OIDC, token exchange, mTLS) to secure MCP servers, agents, and LLM traffic effectively.
Developing Python-based services and integrating with agentic or LLM orchestration frameworks as project needs evolve.
Governing enterprise API gateway platforms, managing MCP servers, agents, LLM usage, and implementing orchestration workflows using appropriate enterprise tools.
Collaborating with architects, security, and platform teams to transform AI governance requirements into functional infrastructure solutions.

Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of backend software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
