Senior Python Automation & AI Agent Engineer

Location: Chennai,Bangalore,Hyderabad

Work Mode: Remote

Experience: 6+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on AI agent creation including orchestration, tool/function calling, prompts, and workflow control.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Python and APIs.
- Assess existing automation and identify opportunities to reuse and refactor existing automation components.
- Wrap existing scripts, Selenium workflows, or services behind APIs.
- Create controlled tools/APIs that can be consumed by AI agents.
- Develop an agent layer for intake, orchestration, status reporting, and approvals.
- Perform testing, debugging, logging, and error handling.
- Work with Git and maintain technical documentation.
- Avoid unnecessarily rebuilding existing automation.
- First assess current scripts, identify reusable components, expose them as controlled tools/APIs, and then create the required agent layer.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in AI agent creation.
- Strong AI agent orchestration experience.
- Experience with tool/function calling.
- Strong knowledge of prompts and workflow control.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Strong API integration experience.




- Ability to assess existing automation and reuse/refactor automation.
- Experience wrapping scripts, Selenium workflows, or services behind APIs.
- Strong experience in testing, debugging, logging, and error handling.
- Valuable knowledge of Git.
- Positive technical documentation skills.
