As a Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the agile technology team, you will design and deliver secure, reliable, and scalable products. Job responsibilities
Design and deliver secure technology solutions across multiple technical areas
Write high-quality code using at least one programming language
Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve system architecture
Respond to incidents and implement fixes to restore platform stability
Collaborate with engineers and teams to enhance platform performance and resiliency




Apply automation to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Hands-on practical experience in application development, testing, and operational stability
Proficient in coding in one or more modern programming languages (Python, Java/Spring Boot, etc.)
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate workplace
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline
Basic knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security
